SENECA EAST - An eight-run first inning spelled doom for Seneca East in its opener against New London, a 12-8 setback. However, the Tigers responded for a 5-1 victory in game 2.
New London pounded out 14 hits in the first game, but was held in check by Ethan Caudill in game 2. Caudill struck out nine in a complete-game four-hitter.
