Children watch as Tom Anway (kneeling), director of operations for Tiffin City Schools, and Jerry Baker, custodian at Clinton Elementary School, dig up a time capsule on the front lawn of the school Thursday morning. The time capsule, which was full of water and contained items such as a flag, toy and class picture, had been buried in 1976 in celebration of the nation's bicentennial and was supposed to be opened in 2076. The school is to be closed at the end of the school year because Tiffin City Schools is to use three elementary buildings instead of five.
