October Baby

April 20, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

"October Baby" is the story of 19-year-old Hannah, who finds out she is adopted and is the survivor of an attempted abortion. She goes on a road trip to find answers and locate her birth mother, and ultimately discovers how powerful forgiveness can be.

October Baby tackles a challenging subject with gentleness and power. The film not only brings a vital, thought-provoking message, it entertains as well.

October Baby honestly and evenhandedly invites audiences to explore their own view of the value of life and the importance and impact of individual choices.

The film is a work of fiction inspired by Gianna Jessen, who is an abortion survivor.

The film is now being shown at the Carmick 12 in Findlay. The times are: 4:10, 6:50. and 9:30 this week and may change next week.

Six of us went to see it and we all agree it is one of the most powerful film we have seen. It is well worth the trip to see it. Tiffin is not planning on showing it at this time but maybe with enough calls they would bring it to Tiffin.

It is a great movie for high school kids as well as adults.
