Carmie's Grill and Bar, 2460 S. SR 231, introduced its Carmie's House Band this past week - as well as change in format for the weekly Jam Night 8-10 p.m. Mondays. The band includes Carmie's regular Mike Risner (center) on lead guitar and vocals, "Bongo" Bill Bonham on drums and Alex Love on rhythm and slide guitar. Bartender Kenny Lawrence also occasionally sits in with the group. Area musicians are welcome to pick up an instrument and join the band.
