St. Wendelin picked up its first Midland Athletic League win of the season, rallying to beat Calvert 10-7. Calvert jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but St. Wendelin (5-6, 1-3) tied the game with four in the fourth, then took control with six in the fifth.
Meghan Reiter picked up the win in the circle and had two base hits while scoring twice. Edy Mowery drove in two runs for the Mohawks. Haley Wolfe, Catrina Lang, Johnna Hoover and Chloe Reiter also added RBIs. Lang scored a pair of runs.
For Calvert (1-9, 1-3), Jordan Gase and Kate Brickner each had two hits with Brickner getting a triple. Danielle Beckley had a hit and two RBIs. Samantha Beckley had a hit and drove in a run while Miranda Shorts added an RBI.
Baums away! Lakota blanks Old Fort
KANSAS - Kaitlyn Baumer shut down Old Fort with her arm, and paced Lakota with her bat. The senior threw a complete game one-hit shutout, and helped her cause with three hits and four RBIs in a 10-4 Raider win.

CAREY - Seneca East became to first Midland Athletic League team to hit five conference wins after a 4-1 victory over Carey. Kristen Bowerman drove in two runs for the Tigers (9-5, 5-0) while Samantha Walker and Karrigan Wurts also added RBIs. Wurts had two hits in the game.
Rachel Bauman pitched Seneca East to the win, scattering seven hits while allowing only one unearned run. She struck out six.
Taylor Fletcher had three hits for Carey (6-10, 2-3). Hannah Draper added a pair of hits. Ali Rymer scored Carey's lone run.
NR holds off Tigers
NEW RIEGEL - Both New Riegel and North Baltimore managed five hits in their Midland Athletic League game Wednesday. However, thanks to three stolen bases and two Tiger errors, the Blue Jackets scored three unearned runs in a 4-1 victory.
Brooke Scherger had a walk and scored twice. Taylor Arbogast had two hits and scored a run. Kara Scherger tripled and scored. Sandra Acree had a base hit and drove in a run.
Taylor Kirian picked up the win in the circle. She allowed one run on five hits while striking out three.
New Riegel (11-3, 4-1) stays one game behind Seneca East for first place in the MAL.
Adelspergers powers Mohawk win
FREMONT - A four-run fifth inning proved to be the difference as Mohawk handed Fremont St. Joe its first Midland Athletic League loss, 7-3.
Kasey Adelsperger not only held down the Streaks (7-4, 3-1) with her pitching, but also did damage with her bat. She was the game's winning pitcher, and went 2 for 2 at the plate with a solo home run. Clara Adelsperger added three base hits and drove in two runs. Taylor McClain added a hit and two RBIs while Sarah Runion had three hits and drove in a run.
Nikki Kieffer also had a hit and an RBI for Mohawk (7-3, 3-1). Ashley Cooper and Molli Cartwright added base hits.
Rams roll past Columbian
UPPER SANDUSKY - Upper Sandusky jumped out to a 6-0 lead, and went on to post an 11-3 win over Columbian.
"Our bats were very hot to start the game with everyone getting involved early, and our base running was very aggressive," Upper Sandusky coach David Young said. "The ladies played very up tempo and aggressive tonight. We seem to be playing with confidence and getting better every time we take the field."
Amber Cox had two triples and scored four runs for the Rams. Brigitte Snow had four hits and scored two runs. Allie Smith allowed just one hit in 5 2/3 innings to get the win.
For Columbian, Sydney Schmucker, Autum Kuzma and Alyssa Price all had hits. Price, Gabby Schmucker and Paige Correll scored runs.
Eastwood blanks Fostoria
FOSTORIA - Erica Moore had Fostoria's only base hit as Eastwood blanked the Redmen 8-0. Whitney Foster struck out 10 Fostoria batters in the complete game shutout. Hannah Hirzel had two hits and drove in a pair for the Eagles.
Moore took the loss in the circle. She allowed seven hits and walked seven.
Fostoria sits a 3-10, 1-3 NBC.
BC adds on against Crestline
CRESTLINE - For two innings, Buckeye Central was held scoreless.
Then the runs came, and Crestline was unable to stop the Buckettes, who scored in each of the last five innings to beat the Bulldogs, 10-5.
The Buckettes scored four runs in the third, added single runs in the fourth and fifth, and then scored four runs over the final two innings.
BC (9-5, 2-3 North Central Conference) was able to withstand a five-run Bulldogs rally in the sixth, and Christine Bibb recorded her first win of the season.
Sarah Alt had two hits and drove in two runs, while Taylor Hanes added a pair of hits while scoring three runs.
Morgan Wurm pitched a scoreless seventh for BC.
