CAREY - At a special meeting Monday, Carey school board accepted the resignation of board member Brian Will effective April 20.
Superintendent Mark Vehre said the district appreciated Will's efforts while serving on the board and the resignation was due to a job change that made it difficult for him to fulfill his duties.
Vehre said the position will be advertised and resumes will be accepted until April 27 with the seat to be filled by May 20.
The board moved into executive session to discuss the appointment of a school official.
