JV BASEBALL: Seneca East defeated Calvert, 3-1. Alex Scheiber scored two runs to lead the Seneca East attack, with Jake Gurney adding one of his own. Calvert's Austin Perry scored one run, while Mike Bennet hit a triple.
GOLF: Dutch Edeburn, Tom Holz, Bill Dunlap and Gene Sherer tied the team of Paul R. Fey, Gary Hohman, Dick Hiser and Brian Krauss at 3-under to share the win in the Thursday Retirees League Scramble at Seneca Hills. Fey ended closest to the pin on No.6 and had the long putt on No. 3.
* Don Kin, Bob Hammer, Phil Miller, Dave Seislove fired a 6-under to win the Senior League at Clinton Heights. Ted Rohmbach and Bob Teach shared the long putt honor at No. 15. Other prize holes went to Dave Kirby (closest in on No. 11), Hammer (closest in two No. 13) and Gary Kroeger (closest in three No. 17).?* The Nature Trails Senior League will start April 25.
