Joanna M. Cooper, 64, of Fostoria, died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Fostoria Community Hospital, Fostoria.
She was born Nov. 16, 1947, in Fostoria, to Joseph Bernice Soals Sr. and Velma May (Hunt) Soals. She married Kevin L. Cooper Nov. 5, 2010, and he survives.
She also is survived by her mother, Velma of Fostoria; five sons, Jeffrey (Janice) Norris, Dennis (Joyce) Norris, Lawrence (Chriss) Norris Jr. and Terry (Amy) Norris, all of Fostoria, and Mark (Colleen) Norris of Findlay; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Soals of Fostoria; and mother-in-law, Diane Cooper of Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Joseph Soals Jr.; and her father-in-law, James Cooper II.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, is assisting the family with arrangements.
