Woman’s condition improves

April 13, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

The condition of a woman whose car rolled while she was trying to avoid a deer and then was struck by an oncoming vehicle last week was upgraded.

Jessica F. Fausnaugh, 20, of Findlay, was listed in serious condition Thursday night, a spokeswoman at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo said.

Fausnaugh, who had been listed in critical condition, was driving a 1998 Plymouth Breeze southbound on US 23 in Loudon Township and swerved to miss a deer April 6. The vehicle struck a guardrail, overturned and was struck by another vehicle.
