Reineke Family Dealerships are hosting a West Ohio Food Bank Drive throughout April. Located in Lima, West Ohio Food Bank provides food and supplies to more than 170 food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters throughout 11 counties in Western Ohio. Counties include: Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, Seneca, Shelby, Van Wert and Wyandot.
Demand for hunger relief services has increased by more than 40 percent in the last year, and that is why Reineke Family Dealerships has decided to team up with the Food Bank to help bring in large quantities of food throughout April.
With the purchase of any vehicle, Reineke Family Dealerships will donate 250 pounds of food to the West Ohio Food Bank. Along with the donation, customers will be entered to win a 90-second shopping spree at an area Community Market or Great Scot Store. A second chance drawing will happen in August 2012 for the chance to win a trip to Myrtle Beach.
By the end of April, Reineke hopes to have brought in 126,000 pounds of food to Western Ohio. On top of the company's donations, the public is encouraged to stop by any of the dealerships and make a donation.
