NEW RIEGEL - A car and a dump truck collided at CR 45 and CR 10 in Big Spring Township Thursday evening.
Trooper Jake Tidaback of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Bryan R. Chaney, 26, of Alvada, was driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am southbound on CR 45 when he failed to stop at the stop sign. The vehicle struck the side of a 2005 Mack dump truck that was being driven westbound on CR 10 by Karl J. Reese, 55, of Carey.
The truck's bed was empty, Tidaback said.

Neither driver was transported to a hospital. Chaney was cited with failure to stop at a stop sign, he said.
Personnel from NBS Joint Fire District, New Riegel EMS, Seneca County Sheriff's Office and State Highway Patrol responded to the accident, which was reported at 5:19 p.m.
