SANDUSKY - Columbian got a run in the first, but Sandusky took over from there, scoring 14 runs over the next three innings and beating the Tornadoes, 14-1.
Alyssa Price led the Tornadoes (1-9, 0-4 Northern Ohio League) on offense, lacing a pair of singles and scoring TC's run.
Paige Correll took the loss.
Elmwood shuts down New Riegel
NEW RIEGEL - New Riegel got a two-run home run from Taylor Kirian in the first inning, but that was all the offense Elmwood would allow the Blue Jackets. The Royals took control of the game, scoring a 4-2 win.
Whitney Striff allowed New Riegel just six hits on the day, three of which came from Kirian. Sandra Acree, Morgan Noftz and Kara Scherger all had base hits for New Riegel (8-2).

Eagles post another shutout of BC
NORTH ROBINSON - Colonel Crawford posted its second-straight shutout of Buckeye Central in as many days, this time topping the Buckettes, 6-0. Nickyla Garverick held Buckeye Central to just five hits Thursday, and eight in the two-game series.
Maddie Ehresman tripled and singled for Buckeye Central (5-4, 0-2 North Central Conference). Hannah Heydinger, Taylor Hanes and Kelly Redmon all added base hits.
For Colonel Crawford (8-1, 2-0), Kelly McLaughlin tripled, singled and drove in a run. Garverick and Bri Rankings also picked up RBIs.
Red Devils top Blue Devils
CAREY - Arlington jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after one inning against Carey. The Blue Devils came back with two in the second, but Arlington added three more in the fourth, en route to a 6-3 victory.
Ali Rymer had a pair of hits for Carey. Taylor Fletcher, Hannah Draper, Haley Hoepf and Audrey Hotelling all added base hits. Fletcher, Hotelling and Abby Hall picked up RBIs.
Falcons slip by SW
FOSTORIA - Riverdale had the lead, then St. Wendelin rallied. The Falcons took the lead again, and the Mohawks rallied again. But in the end, Riverdale had a little more offense.
Jordan Flemming scored and drove in a pair of runs as Riverdale defeated St. Wendelin, 8-6 in Fostoria.
The Falcons slapped eight hits in the win. All but two of their hitters had a hit, and Flemming pitched just well enough to record the victory.
Flemming went four innings, allowing five runs, two earned, on four hits. She struck out three and walked five.
Sammie Digby had a strong day offensively for the Mohawks (3-5), collecting four hits in five at-bats. Digby scored a run and drove in two.
Meghan Reiter took the loss in the circle. The St. Wendelin starter went five innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits. Only four of those runs were earned.
