Seneca County Agricultural Society members discussed Vietnam Wall escorts coming to Tiffin with their campers and tents July 10-11. Assistants are needed to help with registration, placement and set up at the fairgrounds. Board members Ray Bailey and Jim Roberts volunteered, but more help will be necessary.
President Cal Staib announced that besides the Vietnam Wall coming to Camden Falls July 11, a Huey helicopter and a convoy of military vehicles will be on display. Several airplanes are to be flown in and exhibited at Seneca County Airport. Vietnam era memorabilia is to fill the banquet room.
The final plans for the new milkshake stand in the education building at the fairgrounds were on display Tuesday night and construction should start soon. The structure is to cost about $9,000.
The society raised $6,617 with the gun show and the pancake and sausage dinner netted $1,724.

Heard Robert Rainey volunteered to serve as grange superintendent.
Approved a three-year, $50,000-a-year contract for manure hauling.
Heard junior fair chose "Celebrate the London Games" as their fair theme.
Learned the junior fair foundation has purchased a golf cart for fair use and will supply two loads of stone for the back drive.
Will be selling pre-fair tickets for $5 each for 25 or more.
Approved junior fair participants and drive-ins for the open class sheep show.
Learned the fair board will be getting 20 golf carts for fair week.
Approved the treasurer's report. The board owes $92,954 plus interest on its loan.
The Agricultural Society is to meet at 7:30 p.m. May 8.
