BASCOM - Hopewell-Loudon improved to 8-0, 2-0 Midland Athletic League, by blanking Mohawk 10-0 Tuesday. Logan Sendelbach held the Warriors to just two hits, while striking out 10 in the six-inning complete game.
Tyler Tyree dealt the most damaging blow at the plate with a fourth inning grand slam. Jordan Reinhart singled, doubled, tripled and picked up an RBI. Eric Tanner had two hits on the day and drove in a run.
Sendelbach, Austin Kuhn and Eric Depinet also had RBIs. Everyone who got an at bat for the Chieftains scored a run.
Jonathan Morter and Grant Gucker had base hits for Mohawk (1-3, 0-1 MAL).
TC still unbeaten in NOL
WILLARD - Columbian picked up its third-straight Northern Ohio League victory by holding off Willard, 5-4. Columbian (6-2, 3-0 NOL) broke open a 3-3 game with two runs in the sixth, then held on for the win.

Jonah Boyer, Carter Mullins, Logan Tracy and Vince Anway all had two-hit games for the Tornadoes. Mullins and Tracy doubled while Boyer, Anway, Nick Loura and Tyler Fuhrer all drove in runs. Anway scored twice.
Fuhrer picked up his third win of the year on the mound. He struck out seven, giving up just four runs, three earned on five hits in five innings of work.
Loura closed out the game, striking out three and allowing just one hit over the final two innings.
Rams drop NCC opener
ONTARIO - Upper Sandusky had a tough draw for its North Central Conference opener, traveling to unbeaten Ontario. The Warriors maintained their perfect mark with a 7-3 defeat of the Rams.
Ontario (10-0, 1-0) jumped out to a 5-0 lead before Upper Sandusky responded with three runs in the fifth. Ontario was able to shut the door from there, and tacked on two insurance runs in the sixth.
A.J. Wood, Wyatt Clemens and Paul Homan all had multi-hit games for Ontario while Mitch McCristal picked up the win on the mound.
For Upper Sandusky (1-6, 0-1), Adam Duress, Mark Walton, Beau Brown, Cameron Crawford and Alec Oney all had hits. Duress added an RBI.
