Calvert picked up its first win of the season by sweeping Fremont St. Joe's 5-0. The Senecas won all three singles matches and also took the one contested doubles match. Calvert won the second doubles match by forfeit.
In singles action, Jack Burtis topped Aaron Burns 6-3, 6-2., Jacob Zimmerman beat Nick McNair 6-1, 6-1. Ian Warnement beat Jacob Hahn 6-0, 6-1.
Mark Fowler and Tim Puesey teamed up to take a doubles match over Jacob Wurzel and Jacob McQueen 6-1, 6-0.
Trumpler leads H-L softball
BASCOM - It was a game where each team had a number of defensive miscues, as Hopewell-Loudon and Mohawk combined for 12 errors Tuesday afternoon in Bascom.
But Lauren Trumpler's offense proved to be the difference, as she had three hits, doubled and drove in four runs. Hopewell-Loudon won 9-7, despite committing eight errors.

Alicia Frank tripled for the Chieftains (4-5) and drove in three runs. Racquel Hossler and Kelsey Coppus each scored twice.
Hopewell-Loudon scored seven of its runs in the fourth inning.
Ashley Cooper drove in a pair of runs for the Warriors, who committed four errors and were held to six hits by three Chieftain pitchers.
Erin Gilbert, who allowed four runs, one earned over the game's final three innings, picked up the win. Molli Cartwright took the loss.
Rams rally for extra inning win
ONTARIO - Upper Sandusky looked to be in control, leading North Central Conference rival Ontario 8-1 going into the bottom of the seventh. However the Warriors put up seven in the frame to force extra innings.
In the eighth, Maranda Stansbery tripled home Brigitte Snow for what turned out to be the winning run in a 9-8 Upper Sandusky triumph.
Stansbery also doubled and had three total hits in the game. Snow, Tiffany Towns and Amber Cox each had two-hit games. Snow scored three times on the day.
Lexa Cheney, Savannah Piecha and Paige Perry also had base hits for the Rams.
Allie Smith picked up the win on the mound. She pitched a complete game, striking out five.
Baumer pitches Raiders to win
KANSAS -As it has been for much of this season, Lakota won a game thanks to its pitching.
But this time, it was someone other than Abby Durst performing well in the circle.
Durst started, but threw just a scoreless, hitless first inning before being replaced by Kaitlyn Baumer. Baumer pitched the final six innings, allowing just an unearned run on three hits as Lakota topped Oak Harbor, 3-1.
Baumer struck out three and walked one. At the plate, she had two hits in three at-bats.
Lakota's Alaina Bickford also had two hits in three at-bats, tripled and drove in a run. Jessica Hoffman drove in a pair of runs for the Raiders, who improved to 7-1.
