Tiffin reports

Brian J. Persinger, 23, of Tiffin, was charged with disorderly conduct Friday.

A person from the emergency room of Mercy Tiffin Hospital, 45 St. Lawrence Drive, reported Sunday afternoon personnel were treating a 17-year-old girl who took synthetic marijuana.

Law enforcement officers were to meet a FirstEnergy security representative Monday morning. The company had a spool of copper wire stolen in Mansfield, and a GPS tracked it to Apple and Jackson streets. A Tiffin Police Department spokesman said a large spool of wire was found, and a vehicle believed to be involved was towed from the scene. It was under investigation Monday night, he said.

A juvenile was charged with juvenile delinquency and criminal trespass Monday after an incident Sunday. A person had reported two children were on the roof of Columbian High School, 300 S. Monroe St.

A 100-block West Davis Street resident reported Sunday afternoon the theft of fuel and other items.

A person in the first block of North Sandusky Street reported Sunday evening a physical domestic dispute.

A person in the 100 block of West Market Street reported Sunday night several rooms were entered while Tiffin University baseball players were away. A detective was contacted.

A man in the 200 block of North Washington Street reported Sunday night $300 was missing from his wallet.

A first-block Boehler Street resident reported early Monday morning someone was throwing people's trash around the neighborhood.

A 100-block East Perry Street man reported Monday morning a window was broken from his vehicle, and he knew who did it.

Philip L. Zirger, 54, of Tiffin, was charged with obstructing official business and resisting arrest Monday evening.

County reports

A 1000-block West CR 48 man reported Sunday evening a woman was tearing up the residence.

A 3000-block South CR 19 resident reported Sunday evening the theft of two shotguns and change out of an unlocked truck.

A 10000-block West TR 172 man reported Monday morning his mailbox was taken overnight.

A person reported Monday morning the theft of scrap iron from Loudon Township's building at 9970 W. TR 112.

A person reported fraud in the 500 block of East SR 18 Monday morning.

A 1000-block South Main Street resident went to the station Monday morning to report a lost or stolen dealer tag.

An 8000-block West SR 18 resident requested a deputy Monday morning for a stolen bicycle.

A 4000-block North CR 5 man reported Monday afternoon someone entered his house overnight and took his wallet.

A 12000-block West CR 59 resident reported Monday afternoon possible sex abuse.

Fostoria reports

A juvenile was arrested after an officer at Kroger, 126 W. High St., advised of a shoplifter Sunday evening.

A 1000-block Peeler Drive woman called 911 Sunday evening and requested law enforcement immediately. A possible burglary charge was pending.

Bertha Rumschlag, 48, of Fostoria, was charged with disorderly conduct early Monday morning.

A 200-block Independence Avenue resident reported Monday afternoon a son had bruises, and medication was missing.

A 400-block East Tiffin Street woman reported Monday afternoon a neighbor was digging up her flowers.

A person fell off a bicycle at South Washington and East Perry streets Sunday night.

County accident

An injury accident was reported in the 1000 block of East CR 50 Monday afternoon.

Fostoria accidents

Cindy L. Lafontaine, 55, of New Riegel, was cited with operation without reasonable control after an accident in the 300 block of South Countyline Street March 29. She was driving a Seneca County Opportunity Center bus, and no injuries were reported.

Tiana R. Cannon, 19, of Fostoria, was cited with having no driver's license and improper start from a parked position after an accident in the 300 block of College Avenue Friday afternoon.

Gabriel N. Ray, 17, of Fostoria, was cited with operation without reasonable control after an accident at North US 23 and West South Street early Monday morning. He and a passenger, Paige N. McAffee, 16, of Fostoria, were taken by Fostoria Fire Department to Fostoria Community Hospital.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to a report of carbon monoxide at 332 Elm St. Sunday afternoon. Nothing was found.

County fire

Clinton firefighters were called to a car fire on East SR 18 Monday afternoon.
