Emil Becker, 88, of Tiffin, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at his residence.
Emil was born Jan. 15, 1924, in New Jersey, to the late Imre and Anna (Vilk) Becker. He married Irma Becker and she preceded him in death.
Emil is survived by his two sisters, Ethel Alchermes of New York and Viola Henning of Valley Stream, N.Y., and a sister-in-law, Tina Becker of Port Washington, N.J.
Emil was the owner/operator of a dry cleaning business and enjoyed playing golf. Emil was a United States Army veteran.
A memorial service will be at noon Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-1221.
Visitation for family and friends also will be Thursday, from 11 a.m.-noon, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date in Long Island, N.J. Military rites will be rendered by the United Veterans Council.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
