Tiffin reports

A caller from the emergency room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital requested assistance Thursday evening with a combative patient. According to the report, Tiffin police and sheriff's office personnel stood by at the scene, and there were no further problems with the patient.

A caller in the first block of Melmore Street reported Thursday evening four males pulled up in a van and were fighting with a subject in the alley. Police found no problems at the location, according to the report.

A first-block Fairview Avenue caller reported Thursday evening a female was assaulted by a male in the alley by Subway.

A caller in the 200 block of Ella Street reported Friday morning her mailbox had been stolen.

A 400-block East Perry Street caller reported Friday morning someone attempted to break into a house overnight.

A caller reported Friday morning she left her wallet at Dollar Tree, and when she went back to get it, $250 in cash was missing.

A 200-block Ella Street caller reported Friday morning his mailbox had been knocked off its post.

County reports

A 5000-block North SR 53 caller reported Thursday afternoon someone broke into a house.

A caller in the 5000 block of South SR 100 reported Thursday evening three mailboxes were knocked down.

A juvenile shoplifter was reported Thursday evening in the 1000 block of South SR 53.

A 1000-block South Brace Avenue caller reported Thursday evening his girlfriend ran over his foot with a car.

A caller reported early Friday morning he left his car on River Road near CR 38 Wednesday, and when he returned to pick it up, it was gone. According to the report, keys had been left in the car and one door was unlocked, and the caller had learned the vehicle had since been involved in an accident.

Fostoria reports

Alejandro Baiz, 24, of Fostoria, was charged with trafficking in drugs and criminal trespass March 25.

Rodney Lamel Conley Taylor, 37, of Swanton, was charged with a turn and stop signal violation Thursday.

A caller in the 1200 block of Beier Drive reported Thursday morning it appeared someone had slashed his tires.

A caller reported Thursday morning an engineer saw two males doing something on the railroad tracks on South Union Street. Police were unable to locate anyone.

An 1100-block State Street caller reported Thursday morning someone scratched her vehicle.

A caller in the 100 block of Seneca Avenue reported Thursday morning someone stole her yard swing.

An 800-block Spruce Street caller reported Thursday evening a female subject was causing a disturbance and being vulgar.

An 800-block Bugner Street caller reported Thursday evening the theft of a cell phone from the high school Monday.

A caller in the 800 block of Grape Street reported Thursday evening a man was attempting to force entry into his estranged wife's residence.

A caller in the 500 block of East Lytle Street reported Saturday morning a business was broken into. The report was under investigation.

County fires

Kansas firefighters responded to a truck fire early Friday morning on West TR 84.

McCutchenville firefighters responded to an accident Friday morning on South SR 53.

Fostoria fires

Firefighters responded to the 200 block of Columbus Avenue Thursday for an open burning complaint. The owners were advised of open burning laws.
