FINDLAY Several local students were awarded scholarships at University of Findlay.
Breanna Hanna was awarded William and Lucye Hoopes Scholarship. Hanna, a 2011 graduate of New Riegel High School, is the daughter of Debra and Jerry Hanna of Alvada.
Lindsey Potter was awarded Margaret and Paul Palmer Family Scholarship. Potter, a 2011 graduate of Mohawk High School, is the daughter of Laura and Lun Potter of Sycamore.
Loretta Kelbley was awarded O. J. and Georgia Huffman Scholarship and Harry M. and Mary Snyder Kirk Vocal Music Scholarship. Kelbley, a 2010 graduate of New Riegel High School, is the daughter of Nancy Kelbley of Carey and Jeff Kelbley of Fostoria.
Mariah Hohman was awarded Class of 1959 Scholarship. Hohman, a 2009 graduate of New Riegel High School, is the daughter of Valerie and John Hohman of Tiffin.
LaShanna Tucker was awarded Philip B. and Peggy Crosby Scholarship. Tucker, a 2007 graduate of Columbian High School, is the daughter of Louvenia Tucker of Tiffin and the late Willie Tucker.
