BASEBALL: Tiffin D League is having an open draft at 2 p.m. March 31 at Hedges-Boyer Park at D League Field. This is for players who are 11 and 12 years old before May 1 or players who are 13 after May 1, but not for those who turn 14 before May 1, 2013. Players must attend Tiffin City or Calvert Catholic Schools and one or both parents must work in the city of Tiffin. For more information, call Jeff Hohman at (419) 448-7321.

n Tiffin Area Babe Ruth League seeks players and coaches for the upcoming season in all three divisions. To sign up for the Coach-Pitch division (5- to 8-year-olds), contact Ryan Gibson at (567) 207-7420. For the Junior Division (13- to-14-year-olds) and the Senior Division (15- to-17-year-olds), contact Fred McDole at (419) 455-4490 or (567) 220-3018. Players can also register online at tabrl.baberuthonline.com. Players must live in Seneca County and not turn 18 before May 1. The draft occurs April 1 at 1 p.m. at Vic Wurm at Hedges-Boyer Park.

n Any child turning age 8-10 before May 1 is eligible for Tiffin E-League baseball. New players entering the league must be registered. Registration can be done online at www.tiffinparks.com, or by emailing parksdepartment@tiffinohio.gov.

n The Seneca County Pony League's coaches meeting is at 10 a.m. March 31 at the Tiffin Police Department in the training room. For more information, call John Brickner at (419) 448-8735.

TIFFIN WRESTLING CLUB: Several members of the Tiffin Wrestling Club went to the Black River Spring Classic on Sunday. Championships went to Jacob Anderson and Jodin Bell. Second places went to Jacob Charlton, Andrew Branson, Teryn Debold and Rickie Lacey. Finishing in fourth were Dylan Lee, Adrian Elchert, and Hunter Lacey.

SOFTBALL: Tiffin Ponytail Softball seeks umpires for the upcoming season. Pay is $30 per game for certified umpires and $20 for uncertified umpires. There are also openings for coaches. If interested, call (567) 220-9836 or email tponytailsoftball@yahoo.com.
