Ruth L. Ruffing, 103, of Bellevue, died March 10, 2012, at The Willows at Bellevue.
She was born Aug. 25, 1908, in Bellevue, to James and Mary Ann (Tracey) Furlong. She married Louis C. Ruffing June 10, 1936, in Bellevue.
Survivors include two sons, Roger C. Ruffing of Bellevue and Charles J. (Susan) Ruffing of Naples, Fla.; and three grandsons.
Her parents; husband; an infant son, Robert Ruffing; a daughter, Mary Louise Ruffing; six sisters, Helen Poss, Angela Reed, Mary Furlong, Margaret Godfrey, Marian Englar and Rita Babione; and two brothers, Miles Furlong and John Furlong, are deceased.
Friends will be received 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. The rosary will be recited 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
