Beginning March 19, the section of TR 17 between TR 28 and CR 6 in Eden Township is to be closed to through traffic for a bridge replacement. Work is to be completed by June 14.
The rehabilitation of the structure is to include galvanizing the existing steel truss with a new corrugated metal desk on existing steel pile abutments. The contract was awarded to U.S. Bridge of Cambridge for a bid of $464,828.85. Up to 95 percent of the project is to be paid for with federal highway funds, including a 15 percent credit bridge.
