GIRLS DISTRICT BASKETBALL: Tickets for Saturday's district final between New Riegel and Arcadia will be on sale in the New Riegel office from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., today and 10-noon Saturday. Game time is 7 p.m.

BOYS SECTIONAL TICKETS: Old Fort will be selling tickets from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. today in the administration office at the high school for its game tonight with Calvert in Fostoria.

* Fostoria is pre-selling tickets from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. today for its sectional game tonight. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the door are $6.

* Buckeye Central is pre-selling tickets in the athletic office today until noon for its sectional final game tonight. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the door are $6.

* New Riegel is pre-selling tickets until 4 p.m. today for its sectional final game at Fostoria. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the door are $6. The Blue Jackets will face Hopewell-Loudon.

GLIAC WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT TICKETS: ets for TU's semifinal game against Ferris State will be available one hour prior to game time at Ashland's Kates Gymnasium. Prices are $10 for adults and $4 for students.

BASKETBALL: Calvert High, St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Activity Center will host a fifth and sixth grade boys tournament March 24-25. Cost is $125 with a four-game guarantee. For more information, call Nate Ritzler at (419) 448-9515.

* The second annual Best of the Best basketball tournament will be held March 9-11. There will be boys and girls divisions for grades 4-8. The tournament guarantees a minimum for three games. Games will be played at Tiffin University, Heidelberg University and other locations in Tiffin. All proceeds benefit local youth basketball. Cost is $250 per team. DISC GOLF: The TNT Disc Golf League will host the Chili Bowl tournament beginning at 9:30 a.m. on March 10 at Hedges-Boyer Park. The event is to feature a two-round tournament and a chili cookoff. Cost is $20. For more information, call Clare Wertz at (419) 934-3970.

CLINTON SOFTBALL/BASEBALL: Clinton softball/baseball registration is starting for girls and boys in Clinton Township, for all leagues from coach pitch through Pony. Forms are available at Clinton School and are due by March 9. With questions, call (419) 447-8784.

BLOOMVILLE SOFTBALL/BASEBALL: Registration is starting for all girls and boys ages 3-14 interested in playing baseball and softball in Bloomville for the upcoming season. OHSAA MEETING: Columbian will hold its mandatory OHSAA spring sports meeting today at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.

* Calvert will be holding its spring OHSAA meeting at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Media Center in the basement of Calvert High School. Any student athlete that has already attended the meeting this year does not have to attend.

* Seneca East will hold its mandatory OHSAA parent/athlete meeting for spring athletes at 7 p.m. on March 6 in the auxilary gymnasium. Contact Athletic Director Rick Bowerman (419-426-3312) with questions

SOFTBALL: The Mohawk District Summer League will hold signups March 3 from 9-11:30 a.m. in Mohawk's cafeteria for K-8 students interested in playing in Melmore, McCutchenville or Sycamore. Players who sign up after March 17 will pay an extra $10. Emergency medical forms are available at the school office. Entry forms may also be mailed to P.O. Box 196, McCutchenville, Ohio 44844. REVERSE RAFFLE: The 11th annual Fostoria Redmen Baseball Reverse Raffle is March 17 at Weber Hall. Doors open at 5:45 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. and the raffle at 8 p.m. Cost is $100 donation, with a $7,000 grand prize. There will be several other cash payouts. Participants need not be present to win. The event is for those age 21 and older. Additional dinner tickets are $15. Dinner tickets will not be sold at the door.
