A Castalia man was transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center after his vehicle went left of center and struck a semi truck Wednesday morning on North SR 4.

Adam Biehl, 28, was taken to The Bellevue Hospital and then transported by ambulance to the Toledo hospital after his 1999 Ford Ranger went left of center on North SR 4 and struck a 1994 Ford Aeromax's left front end, causing his pick up truck to go off the left side of the road and into a field.

The semi driver, Steven Miller, 44, of Bellevue, was not injured.

A spokeswoman from the University of Toledo Medical Center said Thursday afternoon the hospital did not have a patient under the name of Adam Biehl.

No citations have been issued yet, a spokeswoman from the State Highway Patrol said.

She also said both drivers were wearing their seat belts and alcohol is not a suspected factor in the crash.
