Marva Mae Coffman, 82, of Tiffin, passed away at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at Autumnwood Care Center.
Marva was born March 15, 1929, in San Antonio, Texas, to Thomas and Gladys Mae (Mee) Reavis. She married Robert J. Coffman Jan. 17, 1951, in Charlton County, Ga., and he preceded her in death.
Marva is survived by her three sons, Mark R. (Tina) Coffman of Fostoria and Rick J. (Mary) Coffman and Thomas A. (Michelle) Coffman, both of Tiffin; four daughters, Elizabeth A. (William) Wamsley of Lebanon, Ohio, Mary E. (Andrew) Bess of Tiffin, Janet R. (Kevin) Harper of Cape Canaveral, Fla., and Vicki A. (Kurt) Schoenfeld of Miamisburg; two brothers, Marvin Kent of Bucyrus and Byron Kent of Attica; a sister, JoAnn King of Tiffin; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

Marva held many roles throughout her life and was a retired bus driver for Tiffin City Schools. She was an avid bowler, a Cleveland Indians and baseball in general fan, a long time member and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post No. 2858 and was a life long blood donor. She especially enjoyed her Friday evenings out with her friends.
Marva was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and a 1947 graduate of Bloomville High School. Marva was the light of her children's lives. Her love and pride for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was, and is, never ending.
Marva was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, James Reavis.
A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-1221, with Pastor Jamie Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the funeral home.
