Harold "Zuty" Zutavern, 93, of Bloomville, died Friday morning, Feb. 10, 2012, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born Jan. 14, 1919, in St. Stephens, Bloom Township, Seneca County, to Earl and Minnie (Acker) Zutavern. He married Marcella W. "Sally" Ackerman March 1, 1942, in New Washington, and she survives in Bloomville.
Other survivors include two children, Linda J. (Michael C.) Stanley of Van Wert and Richard E. Zutavern of Bloomville; three grandchildren, Sheri (Aaron) Lantz of Attica, Lori (Brian) Bumb of Bloomville and Craig (Andrea) Zutavern of Cincinnati; and seven great-grandchildren, Brycen and Camryn Lantz, Caden, Blake and Tayah Bumb and Ellie and Jacob Zutavern.

Harold was a lifelong farmer and had served 45 years as a Bloom Township trustee. He was a member of Bloomville United Church of Christ, Seneca Lodge No. 790 F&AM in Republic and Bloom Grange. He was a 1936 Bloomville High School graduate and was an avid Ohio State University and Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers fan. He enjoyed reading, playing dart ball and farming.
A funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at Bloomville United Church of Christ, North Marion Street, Bloomville, with the Rev. Cathy Wirth officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville.
