iffin reports

Earl M. Steinmetz, 26, of Tiffin, was charged with retaining property for an incident July 18, 2010.

A 200-block First Avenue caller reported Thursday afternoon a man threatened to kill his wife. The caller asked for a welfare check on the woman.

A 600-block South Sandusky Street caller reported Thursday afternoon a shed was broken into and a generator was stolen.

A 200-block Circular Street caller reported early Friday morning a vehicle was spray painted with blue paint.

County report

Shaun S. Kinn, 30, of Tiffin, was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday.

Fostoria reports

A 400-block Park Avenue woman reported Thursday evening someone went through her vehicle and cut a dog leash on her porch.

A theft was reported Thursday evening at Kroger, 126 W. High St.

A woman reported Thursday night an older man in a sports car tried to grab her in an alley in the area of North Countyline Street and Union Court. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

A man went to the station Friday morning to report an online scam.

A man reported Friday afternoon he was receiving phone calls from fake medical foundations.

A woman reported Friday afternoon she believed a gas station scammed her out of $25.

Tiffin accidents

Brandon E. Shulaw, 25, of Bloomville, was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead following an accident Thursday afternoon at West Market Street and Oakwood Drive.

An ambulance was requested Friday morning in the first block of Douglas Street for a truck that was on a man's leg. A spokeswoman from the Tiffin Police Department said the man had been pushing a truck when it rolled on his leg. When police arrived, the truck was off of the man.

Fostoria accident

Zoleka Lali, 17, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead following an accident Wednesday morning at West Ridge Drive and Van Buren Street.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to 643 Miami St. Thursday night for a false call.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to the Fostoria Laundromat Friday morning for an odor investigation.

Firefighters were called to Van Buren and Vine streets Friday afternoon for a non-injury accident.

County fire

Attica-Venice-Reed firefighters were called to Wertz Road Thursday night for a chimney fire.
