BASCOM - Hopewell-Loudon erased a six-point lead after the first quarter by dominating the middle periods Friday in a 50-36 Midland Athletic League win over Fremont St. Joe.

St. Joe (10-7, 6-3 MAL) doubled up the Chieftains 12-6 in the opening period, but H-L turned in scoring advantages of 19-9 in the second and 15-8 in the third.

Alec Gregg's nine points, five assists and three steals paced H-L (9-6, 6-3), while Eric Depinet had eight points and 10 rebounds.

Jordan Sessler and Zack Yeckley each scored nine points for the Crimson Streaks.

Brewer-led Raiders drop Bobcats

KANSAS - Kody Brewer turned in double-double Friday as Lakota upended Midland Athletic League foe Bettsville 50-38.

Brewer's 14 points, 12 rebounds and four steals led the charge for the Raiders (5-12, 3-6 MAL). Nick McDole added 13 points and six boards.

Tigers roll up SW

FOSTORIA - Billy Diehm led all scorers and Ben Hahler had a double-double Friday as Seneca East stormed past St. Wendelin 74-40 in Midland Athletic League play.

Diehm nailed five 3-pointers on the way to 26 points for the Tigers (8-7, 5-3 MAL). He also snared three steals.

Hahler turned in 15 points and 14 rebounds, Jamie Schafer had 13 points, seven boards and five assists and Jake Michaels tallied eight points and three steals.

Alex Shontz scored 12 points for the Mohawks (3-13, 1-8), Zach Miller netted nine points, Zeb Walters registered eight points and 10 rebounds and Austin Reinhart added seven points and four assists.

Stockaders ride surge in second quarter

OLD FORT - Old Fort pulled away in the second quarter and got a solid double-double from Hunter Perry in Friday's 70-45 Midland Athletic League win over Mohawk.

The Stockaders (10-6, 7-2 MAL) led 16-11 at the end of the first quarter before outscoring the Warriors 24-8 over the next eight minutes.

Perry keyed the attack with 16 points, 13 rebounds and five steals.

Cole Davidson added 12 points, Dalton Perry had 11 points and seven boards and Brad Bannister tossed in 10 points.

Hunter Fitschen's four 3-pointers and 12 points topped Mohawk (4-13, 3-6), and Jonathon Morter added 10 points.
