Tiffin reports

A juvenile was arrested Tuesday evening after a girl reported her friend threatened another friend with a knife and then was threatening to harm herself.

A 600-block East Market Street woman reported early Wednesday morning a man was trying to assault her sister. The man took off running and the woman did not want to pursue charges, according to the report.

A vehicle in the first block of Minerva Street was reported broken into Wednesday morning. A wallet was missing.

County reports

A 1000-block South Morgan Avenue woman reported Tuesday night her boyfriend assaulted her father and verbally abused her. According to the report, a man was arrested on a warrant out of Union County and was given a citation for disorderly conduct.

Fostoria reports

A 1200-block Peeler Drive caller reported Tuesday afternoon $180 was stolen from a purse.

A 100-block South Street man reported Tuesday evening someone was breaking into his vehicle.

A 700-block Columbus Avenue caller reported a phone scam Wednesday afternoon.

A man reported Wednesday afternoon the mother of his child assaulted him in the 400 block of South Main Street.

A theft was reported Wednesday afternoon at Fostoria Iron & Metal, 636 Spruce St.

County accidents

Kaitlin F. Perry, 19, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead following a non-injury accident Wednesday morning on East US 224 near South SR 231.

Tana L. Snavely, 18, of Tiffin, was taken by Sycamore EMS to Mercy Tiffin Hospital after a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning at South SR 100 and TR 17. Snavely had lost control of her vehicle, went off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.

Sycamore firefighters were called to East CR 16 Tuesday evening for a fire alarm.
