FINDLAY - Domino's Pizza franchise owner Brian Edler is bringing fame to Findlay by starring in a national Domino's TV campaign that began airing Monday.
The campaign showcases Edler, who invented Domino's parmesan bread bites. The bite-size menu item launched nationwide Monday. For a limited time, customers can try it for $1 when ordering the two medium, two-topping pizzas deal for $5.99 each.
"It's a thrill to see my concept make it from one store in Findlay to all of the nearly 5,000 Domino's stores nationwide," Edler said. "To be acknowledged for my involvement in the product through this campaign has definitely been a cool experience. I'm proud that Findlay is getting some of the national spotlight."

The national campaign also features Domino's Pizza President and CEO Patrick Doyle along with Kenton Domino's assistant manager, Lauryn Schlingeloff and Edler's close friend, Bob LaRiche.
Findlay landscapes are displayed prominently throughout the commercial.
"The new campaign shows the cool way in which this idea came about, and that great ideas helping make Domino's better can come from anywhere," said Russell Weiner, Domino's Pizza chief marketing officer.
Edler has been with Domino's Pizza for nearly 30 years. He started as a delivery driver in Willard, eventually working his way up to franchise operator in Kenton in 1989. He also holds the Guinness World Record for the most pizzas made in one hour, at 206 pizzas.
