Court buildings on county agenda

Matters involving a new court facility for the county courts and Tiffin Municipal Court are to top a meeting at 10 a.m. today.

The Seneca County commissioners are to meet with members of Sandusky County/Seneca County/City of Tiffin Port Authority to discuss the possibility of a project to benefit the court system. Recent changes in Ohio law repeal requirements to pay prevailing wages to laborers and mechanics on port authority projects.

The board also is to meet with representatives of WSOS Community Action Commission.

In other matters, the board is to consider:

A supplemental appropriation of $250 within the Community Corrections Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $4,201 for the County Community Housing Improvement Program Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $500 for the Juvenile/Probate Court Computer Fund.

A resolution amending the board orders of Jan. 31, a supplemental appropriation to the Community Development Block Grant Fund.

A resolution authorizing the Sheriff's Office to enter into an agreement/contract with Sounds Systems Inc.

A resolution authorizing a contract with JL Mechanical Services Inc. for a preventive maintenance program on behalf of the sheriff.
