Miller-Scherger

Maria A. Miller and J. Aaron Scherger were married at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. The Rev. Joe Szybka officiated the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Ballroom, Bascom.

Maria is the daughter of Stanley A. Miller of Tiffin and the late Mercedes Miller.

Aaron is the son of Jim and Cindy Scherger of Tiffin.

The bride wore a satin A-line gown with chiffon split front overlay and metallic embroidery. She had a cathedral-length veil.

The maid of honor was Louise Miller of Wooster, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jill Oakleaf of Tiffin, sister of the groom, and Monica Miller of Tiffin, niece of the bride.

Best man was Jon Link of Washington Court House, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Jeff Oakleaf of Tiffin, brother-in-law of the groom, and Jeromy Hill of Nevada, friend of the groom.

Maria is a graduate of Bettsville High School and Notre Dame College of Ohio. She is a middle-school teacher at Bettsville.

Aaron is a graduate of Clyde High School and earned a heavy equipment operator certificate from Associated Training Services. He is a weatherization worker for WSOS.
