A caller from North Central Academy, 928 W. Market St., reported Thursday afternoon a student assaulted another student.

A caller from Family Dollar, 284 N. Washington St., reported Thursday afternoon a man was harassing customers and waiting by their vehicles. The man was given a trespass notice.

A person in the 100 block of Coe Street reported Thursday afternoon a vehicle was entered overnight and items were taken.

A first-block Fairview Avenue man reported Thursday afternoon a woman stole his wallet.

A person reported early Friday morning a man dressed in dark clothing was walking up and down Jefferson Street and appeared to walk up to the library door. According to the report, a male was released to Heidelberg University security.

A person went to the station Friday morning to report a furnace was purchased with a fake check.

A first-block Beechwood Drive woman reported Friday morning a neighbor was putting nails in her tires.

A person in the first block of Shaffer Park Drive reported Friday morning someone withdrew money from an account without authorization.

A first-block Augusta Lane person reported Friday morning unauthorized charges were on a bank card.

A person reported Friday afternoon they found a handgun in a parking lot in the 300 block of West Market Street.

A first-block Kensington Avenue woman reported Friday afternoon her vehicle was entered in the last couple of days.

County reports

Ryan L. Roberts, 18, of Wharton, was charged with theft for an incident on Dec. 29.

A 4000-block North SR 53 man reported Thursday afternoon someone smashed his windshield earlier in the morning.

A 500-block East SR 18 woman reported Friday morning her apartment was broken into while she was gone.

Fostoria reports

A theft was reported Wednesday night at Kroger, 126 W. High St.

A 1200-block Perrysburg Road person reported Thursday morning several checks had been stolen.

A gun was reported stolen Thursday morning in the 300 block of West Jackson Street.

A burglary was reported Thursday afternoon in the 500 block of East North Street.

A theft from a residence was reported Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of East Center Street.

A man in the 800 block of East Fremont Street reported Friday morning he was going to do bodily harm to someone if police didn't respond. An altercation did occur between a man and the woman had lacerations on her neck, according to the report. Police received conflicting stories from the man and woman and the incident is under investigation.

A 100-block West Fourth Street man reported Friday morning he received a check for a large amount in the mail.

A person from a trucking company went to the station Friday afternoon to report a driver took a semi truck.

State Patrol

Thomas E. Crawford, 57, of Bellevue, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, F.R.A. suspension, a registration violation and failure to yield right-of-way Wednesday afternoon.

County accident

Angela M. Young, 44, of Tiffin, was taken to Mercy Tiffin Hospital after an accident Thursday afternoon at West CR 54 and South SR 53. Further details were not available.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to 93 Greenfield St. Thursday afternoon for an unintentional smoke detector activation.

Firefighters were called to 60 N. SR 101 early Friday morning for a carbon monoxide detector that sounded due to a malfunction.
