Ronald and Judith Elchert are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Florida.
They were married Jan. 20, 1962, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. James Say.
Ronald is the son of the late Louis and Irene (Schalk) Elchert. He retired as store manager after working for Foodtown for 42 years.

Judith is the daughter of the late Frederick and Phyllis (Cleveland) Schmitz. She retired after working 30 years as a child care provider.
They are parents of two children, Lori A. Gaietto and Christopher J. (Kathy) Elchert, both of Tiffin, and have four grandchildren.
