Pro-life dinner to be served

The Tiffin Knights of Columbus are to host a pro-life dinner 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the K of C Hall, 49 E. Perry St. The cost for the Swiss steak dinner is $7.50 per person.

Author to sign books

UPPER SANDUSKY - Local author Marsha Rump is to sign copies of her book, "A Cow Who Wouldn't Moo," from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Beca House Coffee Company, 128 S. Sandusky St., Upper Sandusky.

Dinner to honor veterans

Veterans who served in Desert Storm, Desert Shield, Granada, Panama and Bosnia are to be honored at a dinner at 6 p.m. Jan. 21 at Tiffin VFW Post 2858.

The main course is grilled ham steak. Veterans with tickets are to be admitted free; the cost for other guests is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and younger.

Alzheimer's event slated

The Alzheimer's Association's northwest Ohio chapter will host its annual celebration at noon Jan. 17 at Tiffin-Seneca Public Library, 77 Jefferson St.

The meeting is to include a light lunch, an overview of the chapter's past year, and a community awards presentation for the Walk to End Alzheimer's.

The meeting also gives the chapter an opportunity to thank the sponsors, donors and volunteers that made the walk a success. This year, the Tiffin community raised more than $17,000 through the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
