Bill Jr. and Becky Anspach celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise dinner with family and friends Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Carmie's, Tiffin, hosted by their children. They also have planned a family vacation for a later date.
Bill and Becky were married Jan. 6, 1962, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. Timothy Downey.
Bill is the son of the late Bill and Evelyn Anspach. He is retired from Anspach Law, Toledo, and National Machinery.

Becky is the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Spencer. She retired after 40 years at Washington Elementary School in the Tiffin City Schools system.
They are parents of two children, Kim (Mike) Scheerer of Tecumseh, Mich., and Scott (Anne) Anspach of Durham, N.C. Two grandchildren complete their family.
