An 8000-block North SR 53 woman reported early Thursday morning she saw a person in her hallway carrying a stick. She said she shouted at the person and they ran to a different area of the house. She also reported two lights were shut off in her house. Deputies were unable to locate anyone or anything at the residence.

A 300-block West High Street man reported Wednesday night someone broke into his truck and stole a checkbook.
A woman went to the station early Thursday morning to report she let her child's father take her vehicle and he didn't return it. According to the report, the man was arrested on active warrants and the vehicle was released to the woman.
