St. Vincent de Paul is in need of volunteers to prepare gifts and food boxes for distribution. Sorting and packing is to start at 6 p.m. Thursday in the basement recreation room at the former St. Mary School, 75 S. Sandusky St.
Director Mary Huffman is seeking people who can work one or more hours Thursday night and/or during distribution 3-6 p.m. Friday. Huffman said the first hour is usually the busiest. She tries to match up a volunteer to assist each family.
Anyone able and willing to help can show up Thursday or Friday.
