FRESHMAN BOYS BASKETBALL: New Riegel beat Hopewell-Loudon, 38-28 on Tuesday. Chad Cassidy led the Blue Jacket attack with 14 points. Aaron Acree backed him with 12 points. Tyler Imes led Hopewell-Loudon with 11 points.
JUNIOR HIGH BOYS BASKETBALL: Calvert's eighth grade boys defeated Lakota, 60-31. Leading Calvert was Drew Ritzler with 19 points. Also contributing was Sam Palm and Devin Stith with 10 each.
* Old Fort beat Bettsville Monday night 47-46. Kaleb Lance led Old Fort with 14 points, while Jacob Clark had eight. Kasey Hossler led Bettsville with 33 points.
TIFFIN UNIVERSITY FOOD DRIVE GAME: Tiffin University's women's basketball team will be hosting a food drive game on Monday. The game, against Northern Kentucky, begins at 5:30 p.m. The price of admission will be a non-perishable food item. The food will be donated to a local area family in need.
