FOSTORIA - The 2012 Relay for Life of Fostoria is planning a kick-off event for 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Fostoria Geary Family YMCA at Center and Wood streets.
Crafters and direct-sales merchants are to have displays set up in the gym on the second floor. Relay teams are to have tables set up as well. The event is to include food, a craft show, children's holiday activities, a store for kids to shop for the holidays, a fun run, door prizes and Santa. The swimming pool is to be open 2-3 p.m. for $1.
Those who attend can enter a grand prize drawing for a free six-month family membership. The cost to enter is a can of food for those in need.
