Dominic J. and Rita Bursa celebrated their 65th wedding anniverary with a Mass Sunday, Nov. 24, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, followed by a family meal.
They were married Nov. 28, 1946, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. Richard Gabel.
Dominic is the son of the late Ambrose and Justina Bursa. He retired from General Electric after 40 years of employment.

Rita is the daughter of the late Edward and Emma Burkart. She also is retired from GE.
They are parents of five children, Carol (Bob) Parker of Bucyrus, Ann (Scott) Gregory of Huntsville, Ala., Stephen (Nancy) Bursa of Perrysburg, David (Ginny) Bursa of Tiffin and Jill (Rich) Oblizajek of Toledo. Completing the family are 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
