BELLEVUE - Historic Lyme Village is to have a holiday market 2-9 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. The village gift shop and additional vendors are to be set up in the Visitors' Center. Admission is free.
"Christmas of Yesteryear" lantern tours are to to take place 5-9 p.m. Saturday. The tours include music, food samples, period Christmas decorations, actors and re-enactors in candlelit cabins and the Wright Mansion. The cost is $5 for those age 13 and older and $3 for children.
Reservations are being accepted for candlelight dinners at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 and 3 and 1 p.m. Dec. 4 in the Wright Mansion. The event begins with appetizers and music, followed by a four-course meal, holiday stories and lighting of the Christmas tree.
The cost is $49 per person or $45 for HLV members. Seating is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
