A helicopter from Construction Helicopters Inc. in Howell, Mich., helped install exhaust fans and heating and air conditioning units atop Tiffin University's recreation center Monday morning. The facility, scheduled to open sometime next semester, includes a track area and field house. TU is seeking to raise $12 million through a capital campaign, with $9.4 million to fund the recreation center, $1.6 million to be used for campus development and $1 million for endowed scholarships. Michael Grandillo, TU's vice president for development and public affairs, said the campaign had raised $11.4 million as of Monday.
