Jerry and Annetta Mathias celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a 10:30 a.m. Mass at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, followed by an open house at New Riegel American Legion Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011.
They were married Nov. 11, 1961, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Frenchtown, by the Rev. Bart Leis.
Jerry is the son of the late Leon and Rose Mathias. He is retired from Atlas Crankshaft, Fostoria.

Annetta is the daughter of the late Oswald and Bernadine Huss. She is a retired Avon representative.
They are parents of five children, Connie Parish of Carey, Larry Mathias of New Riegel, Dan Mathias of Alvada, Melissa Hammond of Mount Vernon and Robert Mathias of Alvada. They also have 17 grandchildren, one of whom is deceased.
