Parents, educators, coaches, take a bow
Many of the people to whom this message is directed probably won't have time to read it, but this needs to be stated anyway.
The people being referred to are the parents, coaches and educators of students who were to perform on some big stages Thursday, Friday and today. Volleyball players from Mohawk High school headed off to the state finals, football players from Calvert, Columbian and Buckeye Central had playoff games scheduled, too, and band members from Seneca East were performing in New York in a tribute to people whose lives were affected by 9/11 and to honor our veterans. These students would not be performing at this level without the support and guidance offered by parents and mentors.
If you see one of them this weekend, please pass that sentiment along.
