PLAYOFF FOOTBALL: Hopewell-Loudon will pre-sell tickets for $7 for tonight's OHSAA playoff game against Hicksville today from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.. Tickets at the gate are $9. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets before the game as a portion of the pre-sale will stay within the school. PREP VOLLEYBALL PRE-SALE: Tickets for Mohawk's regional final volleyball match are on sale in the school office from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. today for $6; price at door is $8. Mohawk retains 12 1/2 percent of all pre-sale tickets. The Warriors will play Norwalk St. Paul 2 p.m. Saturday for a trip to state. The match will be at the Elida Fieldhouse, 101 E. North St., Elida.

COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL: Heidelberg will host the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals today. Otterbein faces Mount Union at 5 p.m., with Heidelberg taking on Baldwin-Wallace at 7 p.m. Tickets, good for both matches, are $10 for adults. Single-match tickets are $5 for senior citizens, $2 for non-OAC students under 18, and free for OAC students. The finals are Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets to the finals are $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, $2 for non-OAC students under 18, and free for OAC students. OAC lifetime passes will be honored for all championships, but not regular-season passes.

OLD FORT: Old Fort Athletic Boosters are conducting a Cash for Quarters fundraiser. For $25 one can purchase a ticket with the opportunity to win 30 times during the Old Fort varsity boys basketball season. Each time a ticket is drawn it will be placed back in with the potential to be drawn again. A ticket will be drawn after each of the first three quarters of varsity home game. A ticket drawn after the first quarter is worth $25, one drawn after the second quarter is worth $50, and one drawn after the third quarter is worth $100. The ticket holder doesn't need to be present in order to win. For $30, one can become a patron of the boosters and claim a ticket for Cash for Quarters. Call the high school or any booster member for more information. The deadline to purchase tickets is Nov. 10.

VOLLEYBALL: A women's recreational volleyball league starts Monday at the St. Mary's gymnasium. The league runs Mondays through March at 6:30 p.m. League fees will be divided between teams. Those interested in playing or joining a team should call Ronda Goshe at (419) 447-8187.

GOLF: Two teams tied at 3 under to win Thursday's Retirees League Scramble at Seneca Hills. Paul R. Fey, Ron Shoup, Bob Barchus, Veryl Walton and Jim Immele tied with Ray Krupp, Clyde King, Jim Peterman and Gary Kroeger. King had the long putt on No. 17. Fey was closest to the pin on No. 16.
