VOLLEYBALL PRE-SALE: Tickets for the Mohawk regional volleyball match are on sale in the school office during the school day for $6, price at the door is $8. Mohawk retains 12 1/2 percent of all pre-sale tickets. Tickets will be sold until 3 p.m. today. The match is tonight at the Elida Fieldhouse, 101 E. North St., Elida. Mohawk plays Convoy Crestview at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the second match. It is not a split session.

PLAYOFF FOOTBALL: Hopewell-Loudon will pre-sell tickets for $7 for Friday's OHSAA playoff game against Hicksville today through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., and tonight from 7-8 p.m. Tickets at the gate are $9. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets before the game as a portion of the pre-sale will stay within the school. For more information, call Athletic Director Steve Suter at (419) 937-2216.

* will pre-sell tickets for $7 for Saturday's 7 p.m. home game against Edon today through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. in the main office. Tickets will also be sold Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon. A portion of the pre-sale proceeds go to the Calvert Athletic Department. Tickets at the gate are $9, with all proceeds going to the OHSAA.

* Columbian Pre-sale tickets for Friday's playoff football game at Sandusky will go on sale during regular school hours today and tomorrow. Tickets will be available from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tickets will also be available today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Tickets will be sold in the athletic office. All pre-sale tickets are $7. All tickets at the gate are $9. Columbian High School will receive a portion of all pre-sale tickets. Contact the athletic office with any questions

BOYS BASKETBALL: Tiffin Junior Basketball for Tiffin city boys will hold tryouts today at the Tiffin Development Center. Fifth grade tryouts are from 5:30-7 p.m. Sixth grade tryouts will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. For more information, visit www(dot)tiffinjuniorbasketball(dot)weebly(dot)com.

OLD FORT: Old Fort Athletic Boosters are conducting a "Cash for Quarters" fundraiser. For $25 one can purchase a ticket with the opportunity to win thirty (30) times during the Old Fort varsity boys' basketball season. Each time a ticket is drawn it will be placed back in with the potential to be drawn again. A ticket will be drawn after each of the first three quarters of each boys' Old Fort varsity home game. A ticket drawn after the first quarter is worth $25, one drawn after the second quarter is worth $50 and one drawn after the third quarter is worth $100. The ticket holder doesn't need to be present in order to win. For $30, one can become a patron of the boosters and claim a ticket for Cash for Quarters. Contact the high school or any booster member for more information. The deadline to purchase tickets is November 10.

GOLF: The winning team in Monday's Retiree's League 2-man best ball at Seneca Hills were Dutch Ediburn, Bob Barchus, Harry Smith and Gary Kroeger at plus 3. Barchus was closest to the pin on No. 16 and shared the low gross of 39 with Rufus Tyree.

* The Wednesday Retiree League at Clinton Heights was won by the team of Ted Rombach, Joe Blust, Bob Overholt and Mike Hampp with a score of 8-under par. Prizes went to Bob Shultz (long putt No. 10), Frank Perna (closest in one No. 11), Frank Michniak (closest in two No. 13) and Overholt (closest in three No. 17).

VOLLEYBALL: A women's recreational volleyball league starts Monday at the St. Mary's gymnasium. The league runs Mondays through March at 6:30 p.m. League fees will be divided between teams. Anyone interested in playing, or joining a team, should contact Ronda Goshe at (419) 447-8187.
