Seneca County
The Seneca County Park District invites all ages to a Nature Walk, Bird Talk program at 8 a.m. Nov. 6 at Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve south of Bloomville on SR 19.
A Christmas craft program is planned at Garlo preserve for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8, and Young Adventurers ages 6-12 can make a Thanksgiving arrangement at 6 p.m. Nov. 10.
Hancock County
Join Neil Stewart of Millstream Astronomy Club Nov. 5 at Riverbend Recreation Area's shelter 5 for a program about winter constellations.
He plans to guide participants through the constellations of the winter sky and provide insight as to how the constellations were named.
Public viewing is planned after the program if conditions are favorable.
Riverbend is off SR 568, east of Findlayat 16618 TR 208.
Crawford County
Join Crawford Park District for an archeology dig 9 a.m. Nov. 5 at Heckert Nature Preserve, 1601 SR 19.
Positioned on the edge of the former village of Olentangy, the preserve has hidden treasures beneath the soil. The program will be the beginning of excavations to take place.
A nature hike is planned at 1 p.m. Nov. 6 at Sears Woods, 1486 Mt. Zion Road, Bucyrus.
