The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center has planned an adult education seminar, The Artistry of Fall Produce, for 10 a.m.-noon Saturday. The presenter is to be Edward A. Logan, chef at Terra Community College, Fremont. Logan is to discuss the preparation of fall produce such as beets, pumpkin, butternut and acorn squash, turnips, yams and sweet potatoes. Recipes will be shared and new ways of cooking fall harvest favorites will be demonstrated.
