The Advertiser-Tribune

Senior Dustin Theis (from left) and freshmen Austin Hoepf and Mackenzie Reinhart, New Riegel High School art students, use chalk to create a picture of penguins on the sidewalk in front of the school Monday morning. Senior Taylor Smith (far right) creates a tiger. Students drew and colored various pictures on sidewalk squares in front of the school as part of New Riegel Chalk Walk, and administrators judged them. Smith placed first, freshmen Natalie Reinhart, Kara Scherger and Taylor Arbogast placed second and seniors Ally Burns, Shelby Chaney and Meghen Welly placed third.
